Appalachian Trail Tribute Garden

ATC Porch

The Appalachian Trail (A.T.) Tribute Garden is a lovely and tranquil place that celebrates and remembers those who have walked on, helped protect or been inspired by the Appalachian Trail.

Groundbreaking for the garden occurred in fall 2017, and it was completed in summer 2018.

Prior to and during construction of the garden, individuals were able to purchase custom engraved bricks, benches, boulders and other landscape features. We are grateful to the donors who supported the creation of this beautiful space and welcome all to come visit.

The A.T. Tribute Garden is located at the Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) Headquarters, 799 Washington Street, Harpers Ferry, West Virginia 25425. It is open to the public 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

There are no longer engraving opportunities in the A.T. Tribute Garden, however, if you’d like to make a donation to the ATC in memory or honor of someone special or to celebrate your own A.T. experience, please visit: Thank you for your interest in supporting the A.T. and the ATC!
